SK Union Břevnov
“SK Union Břevnov is a community football club from Prague 6, founded in 2020. We continue the tradition of former Břevnov clubs that spans over a century. Our goal is to provide local children with a place to play football again and to ensure that the last local sports field does not disappear. From the beginning, we knew that we wanted to build a neighborhood club where every child gets a chance regardless of their skills. The adult team of SK Union Břevnov began to come together in the spring of 2022, initiated by Union committee member Karel Höfer, among others, with the awareness that every neighborhood should have its own football club, and that no football club can exist long-term without youth teams, but also not without an adult team. At the beginning, there were fewer of us on the field than there are fingers on the average footballer’s foot. But year after year, the adult team of Union has grown, consisting of over 30 core players of various ages and experiences. We regularly train under the guidance of coach Oldřich Ouzký, who holds an A license. We have shifted our focus to 11-a-side football and have played numerous friendly matches with both amateur and competitive teams. Our future goal, in addition to improving our abilities, is to stabilize the squad and register the team in an official competition.”

Dynamo Žižkov
The club was founded by a disparate group of footy loving friends in August 1998 and started out with regular kickabouts on Letna. After purchasing our first kit, a Newcastle United FC replica kit, and naming ourselves after our favourite Prague district, we played our first official fixture against IFC in January 1999. We lost that game 7-1 and then the return fixture 1 month later 10-3, however, we persevered, and here we still are 20 years later.

IFC Prague
- ABOUT
The International Football Club of Prague was established in the Summer of 1990 when a group of British Embassy staff and British construction workers employed at the British Embassy played their first friendly football match against a Czech pub team from the district of Prague 10.
With the Velvet Revolution of October 1989 and the ensuing influx of foreigners to Prague and the Czech Republic, the IFC eventually grew from its initial links with the British Embassy to encompass the wider foreign community in Prague.
In the years since its inceptions, the IFC of Prague has truly lived up to its name, fielding players from many countries whose national flags are represented in the club crest, in order clockwise: Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, Ireland, United States of America, Holland, Honduras, France, Scotland, Germany, Wales, Australia, Italy, Argentina and England. In addition the IFC has been represented in the past by players from Austria, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iceland, Nigeria, Senegal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden, whose national flags are unfortunately not present due to limitation of space.
