What a game. 0-1 down after 30 seconds, 0-2 down after 8 minutes, Frederiksen refusing to take a penalty at 1-3 down, a red card and 2 sin bins, 1-4 down with 25 minutes left………

1’ 1-0 Partisan
8’ 2-0 Partisan
18’ 2-1. After an absolute battering in the first quarter of an hour from a heavily talented new look Partisan side, IFC managed to get a toehold in the game after 18 minutes when Sattar found Roberts who played a through ball for PHILBIN to round Valt in the Partisan goal and finish cooly.
29’ 3-1 Partisan.
32’ Debutant Lopes had a lovely flick header (from a Philbin free kick) superbly saved by Valt.
39’ Frederiksen was tackled in the box and the referee pointed to the spot for a soft penalty. For the 2nd league game in a row IFC refused to take the penalty and played the ball back to the opposition goalkeeper (much to the annoyance of the IFC bench……).
42’ Antrobus had a rocket shot well saved by Valt.

HT: Partisan 3-1 IFC

55’ 4-1 Partisan.
65’ 4-2. Guri handled on the line from an IFC long throw in and was shown a red card. PHILBIN scored the resultant penalty.
70’ 4-3. Philbin was denied his hat trick after great work when his goal bound shot was helped over the line by a sliding EVERS – “I had to make sure lads!”
75’ 4-4. EVERS equalized with a tap in after a good run and cross by Roberts.
At this stage Partisan looked the most likely to score a winner but a combination of solid defending, great keeping by Kazmierczak and a bit of luck prevented them from doing so.
80’ 4-5 IFC. 17 year old ANTROBUS scored what turned out to be the winner with a curling effort into the top corner of the goal after a good pass from Fanthorpe.

FT: Partisan 4-5 IFC.
